About me
Suzie Silk works primarily with photography, creating conceptual imagery that explores themes around identity and sexuality.
Her work is both satirical and performative, using her own body to create narratives that draw inspiration from her own personal experiences as a woman and from broader observations about society, culture, language, art, history and literature.
Suzie studied BA Photography at Nottingham Trent University and won the Women in Art Prize, Tim May Memorial award 2023. She has exhibited around the UK, including Roundhouse London, Mall Galleries, Art on a postcard and Fox Yard studios.
